It peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 in August 1987, and was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on June 4, 1992. Internationally, Bad Animals charted within the top five in Canada, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Averagebear6June 9, 2022I consider this era phase III of Heart. Phase I had the incredible Dreamboat Annie and Little Queen. Amazing stuff that still holds up. Then Passionworks and Private Audition also great albums, but a different feel from the first two albums. Phase III was the ST Heart album, Bad Animals, Desire Walks On. These cd's are quite different freom the earlier years, but excellent in their own way. Sort of like Original Yes and then the 80's and 90's Yes. Both versions have some different, yet incredible music. So Bad Animals is incredible. I really like every song. Rady for some remasters with Bonus Tracks!!
